Guess who we're missing?
Although all of us felt the pang of sadness as we said goodbye at the airport yesterday, Josiah was the one who expressed it the most. Tender heart that he is, he just couldn't stop the tears from coming. He sure loves his grandma!
The house feels different without Grandma Fisher here! We were definitely glad that she got to spend this time with us.
It's a joy to me to see the love that this special lady poured out on this son, now overflowing to the next generation, as the son lavishes it on his new daughter.
There's so much love in this family...and it keeps growing...

ohh so sad! I would have been right there with Josiah and the tears! What a blessing she is to your family!
Oh, the good-bye's are always so hard! I'm usually able to be tough and just say goodbye, but when the kids start to tear up then I lose it. We only see Grandparents once a year - for a week at a time so goodbye's always seem to come too soon.
Hope you are all able to adjust and that the tears don't last too long. Do you have any of those recordable books? My mom recorded two books for the kids a year or so ago. It's great for when they want to hear Grandma. She can read them that book over and over again w/o even being here.
