Jeff let Moriah plant some sunflowers by the patio earlier this summer...
...and wow, look at them now! One of her plants is the traditional single-flowered tall plant, and the other is shorter with lots of smaller blooms.
What a thrill for a little girl (she would call herself a BIG girl!) ;-) to plant such small seeds and see such large plants come from them!
What a joy for me to see her delight as she becomes a partner with God in caring for His creation.
The intricate design of the face of a sunflower brings forth a sense of genuine awe in me...which is exactly what the face of my daughter does to me, too. I thank God for creating them both. :)
