This almost makes me cry! And it's not for the reason you would think. I've been feeling SOOOOO burdened, overwhelmed, and GUILTY over not taking better care of my garden this year, and my weeds are bigger, taller, more plentiful, etc. than they have been for many years for me. I also feel SO GUILTY because I didn't use my time or soil wisely and therefore didn't even plant corn or beans. But I see you have GIANT weeds in your garden and you are still reaping a bountiful harvest. At least I'm not the only one with huge weeds, and hopefully I'll enjoy a bountiful harvest of the vegetables I did plant.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Sally! To tell you the truth, I halfway regretted posting these pictures because I didn't want them to portray Jeff in a negative light. He is the one who does all the garden work, and I appreciate that SO MUCH. But with work and family and everything else, it's impossible to have a "perfect" garden...and so, we have giant weeds. ;-)

However, as scraggly as our garden may appear, it is amazing how much good food we're getting from it!!! We won't win any awards for Best-Looking Garden, but hey, our tummies will be happy! ;-)

I'm so grateful that this post encouraged you, and I really do appreciate your comment. :)
