The Dress that Grandma Bought

Grandma Fisher is an avid, skillful yardsaler; and it's not uncommon for her to find treasures for my kids at rock-bottom prices.  And so, I wasn't at all surprised when Jeff returned from his trip to California with a few more things in his suitcase than he left here with.  :)

One of those special things was this pretty little dress for Moriah...
...and today was a perfect day for her to wear it.  :)
 Still warm and summery...
...with no hint of fall's coolness in the air.
By next summer, this long-legged girl of mine will have outgrown this entirely...
...but today, it was just right.

Thank you, Grandma Fisher!!  We can hardly wait until you come in 13 days!  :)

Moriah is so cute! We positively enjoyed your visit last evening. Tonight when Paul was saying his bedtime prayers, he thanked God that Tobin & Shav could come to visit yesterday. I am so thankful for the relaxing and enjoyable evening. I know if you would not have come, I would have worked full-throttle all evening, trying to clean up my book upheaval in the living room. As it was, I enjoyed a summer evening with family and friends, and tonight (with weary body and bleary eyes), I got the living room in a functional state. Anyway, thanks again for the blessing of a visit!

Sally, thank YOU!!! We enjoyed ourselves so much, and it was truly relaxing...especially at this stage of pregnancy when I wrestle with the "do I work hard to get stuff done, or do I rest up for labor?" dilemma. Having that time to rest was exactly the right thing, and I am so grateful for your hospitality!! :)
