It Didn't Take Them Long...

...once Grandma Fisher got here, to get her to play a game with them.  :)
She arrived late Saturday night; and first thing Sunday morning, just as soon as a quick breakfast was eaten and before we got ready for church, this was the scene in our kitchen.
One of my kids' favorite things about Grandma Fisher is that she plays with them.
Those who have known us for a while know very well that Grandma Fisher serves us in many ways when she's here.  But I think one of the most special things that she does, which is a truly wonderful part of the grandma stage of life, is that she knows how to slow down and just be with us.  And sometimes "just being" looks a lot like holding a grandson on her lap while she plays a rousing game of Uno with three other grandsons first thing on a Sunday morning.  :)

I love that they share that with her. They'll always remember these times.
