Whenever I try to take a selfie with Jed by holding out my Canon Rebel camera as far as I can reach and optimistically clicking the button, I always realize something...
...my arm is too short.
Also, my aim is bad. I was right beside Jed, but alas, I don't show up anywhere in this picture.
Oh, the limitations of a selfie!

I know what it is, but "Selfie" still doesn't really sound like a good thing to me. Because your arms are "too short" you managed to take some beautiful pictures of your dog.
There's a lot to be said for looking outward instead of inward, no?
