Quietness and Rest

This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:

 "In repentance and rest is your salvation;

in quietness and trust is your strength."

Isaiah 30:15

My little boy who can sleep anywhere reminds me that anywhere I am can be a place of quietness and rest, too--no matter how many people swarm about or how many car horns honk or how many children shout.

Ah, quietness and rest.  I like the sound of that!  :)
