Catching Up with John

It had been six years since we had seen John.

Back in those days, he was a single college student, finishing up a degree and figuring out his future.  And now?  Well, take a look at him.  :)

 We had the honor of snagging some time earlier this week with John and his wonderful family as they traveled north from Georgia to New York.  It was delightful to meet his wife and his kids (can you tell the Little Miss had just about HAD it by this point because she was so tired from a long day of travel?).  ;-)

 We rejoice in the increase God has brought to John!  :)

When David was saying goodbye to them, he said, "I wish you could stay for two more days!!"  To tell you the truth, I felt the same way--our time was just too short.

I'm hoping our paths will cross again someday...sooner than six more years!  ;)
