I smile every time I see that particular swing because when Harper was tiny, we had the baby papasan bouncer thing and my husband would hold it up, with Harper strapped in it, and lift it up and down and side to side. It was the only way she would stop screaming. Except it was excruciating for the person doing the lifting and swaying. Then when she was about one (and past the screaming) this swing came out and we realized another clever dad must have had the same back breaking experience and designed a swing to replicate the movement.
May your little lady spend many a sweet hour swaying to and fro! I am so excited to see her!
