Moriah, Tonight

Tonight I gaze in awe on this sweet girl.  Tonight I rejoice in the wonder of seeing my daughter face to face.
Tonight I wanted to begin to tell Moriah's story, but my body is weary and my eyes grow heavy.  Soon, I hope to start the record of her birth.  But for tonight, sleep.  Sweet, peaceful, joyful, thankful sleep.

  1. Oh Davene! She is beautiful! Look at that hair! And those cheeks! Oh, bless her. She is just so precious.

    Praying you both sleep well.

  3. So glad to see her picture. She is, as you said, a jewel. The end of one of the best days of your life. Hope you can get some rest.

  4. What healthy, chubby cheeks. She looks so relaxed and peaceful. I hope you get lots of good sleep tonight. I want to hear all you have to share about her birth, but there's no rush. I'll be just as interested in a week. Enjoy your rest and relief from responsibilities while you are in the hospital (I have to confess I enjoyed that so much when Marie was born!).

I've been offline the past few days, so this is the first I've been able to check in on you. CONGRATULATIONS! Give her an extra snuggle from me.
