Yellow encourages intelligence, they say! Not sure about that, but waking up in a sunshine-coloured room always made me feel happy as a child. By the way, does Tobin have his own room? (I've forgotten sleeping arrangements, but I know at least some of your boys bunk together, and I know my boys love to share -- at this point!).
Morning - I'm glad to hear your happy memories of a yellow room! My laundry room is yellow, and it really does perk me up to see such a sunny color there. :)
Tobin has been saying for quite some time that yellow is his favorite color, so it wasn't hard to pick this paint color. :)
Good question about our boys' sleeping arrangements! Josiah and David share a room, and have done so for quite some time. It works out really well for them. Until now, Tobin has had a room of his own, and Shav has slept in our nursery. But with Little Sister on the way, Shav is getting booted out of the crib and out of the nursery, and he will be joining Tobin in his room. He's excited. :) We do have bunk beds in both of the boys' rooms, so it makes it easy to share. I imagine that in the future, when the boys are older, we might do some creative reshuffling of who sleeps where, but for now this is working out great. :)
I love it! What a warm color!
ReplyDeleteohh I bet this will look beautiful! :-)
