The Night Was Short. Rejoicing Has Come!

Weeping may remain for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
~ Psalm 30:5b ~

Before we even expected it, God filled my womb that had emptied during my recent miscarriage; and mercifully, the night of mourning was short--so short that we're still a little stunned by it.

Amazed, too.

Incredulous.

Overjoyed.

Humbled.

Grateful.

Unspeakably so.
If all goes well, we'll meet this little one face to face sometime around April 7, 2012!!!  :)

He who goes out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with him.
~ Psalm 126:6 ~

Its very interesting because I was just thinking about you today and the very thought of you having a baby came into my mind and made me excited to just think about. I had no idea that you are expecting again! God is so GOOD!

  4. I'm trading my Sorrows, I'm trading my pain. I'm laying it down for the joy of the Lord!!!! ......Though the Sorrow may last for the night, His Joy Comes in the morning!!! This is the song I started singing when I read this post. Ah God is so good! I too was thinking that this was in the works for you!!! Praise the LORD, From whom every good and perfect gift is given.

  5. Oh DAvene, that's wonderful news. God is good - and He is good regardless of the gifts we get, or don't. But the gift of another child.....well, they don't come much better than that . So chuffed for you x

  13. Congratulations! You are blessed, and I know this baby will be loved more than any other of your children--because there will be more people in your family to love him (or her)! (More than there were to love any of your other babies.) :) I'm very happy for you.
