Celebrating Six

The plate said to...
...so we did!  Turning six is a BIG deal.  :)

I hope to write more about this birthday boy tomorrow...
...but for tonight, I'm tucking myself into bed momentarily.  It's been a wonderful day, full to the brim; but through all the day's activities have run these thoughts in my head:

How blessed we are to have had our darling David here with us in our family for six whole years!

and

How did we ever live without him?!

  4. I can't believe little David is six already! I remember when Josiah turned six! Happy Birthday David! It was so nice and refreshing catching up on your blog. Your fish cupcakes are soooo cute and I could tell right away that they were little fishies! So cute! And how pleased David must have been!

I loved loved loved watching Josiah play at his violin recital as well as you. What a talented family! You are always inspiring me Davene! :)

  5. Thank you, friends!

Amber - we've had that plate for quite a while, so I can't remember for sure. But I think it came from a Pampered Chef party that my sister-in-law was having. I love having a plate like that; we pull it out for all kinds of special occasions. :)
